
Shri Guru Aradhana Mahotsav is the anniversary celebration of the Maha-Samadhi of the two of the illustrious Acharyas of the Guru Parampara – Shri Sadguru Manohar Manik Prabhu Maharaj (the second Acharya) and Shri Sadguru Siddharaj Manik Prabhu Maharaj (the fifth Acharya).
The Mahotsav, which falls in the Hindu Lunar month of Ashwin, begins with the Punyatithi of Shri Siddharaj Manik Prabhu Maharaj on Ashwin Krishna Tritiya. Shri Maharaj ji performs Mahapooja to the Samadhi of Shri Siddharaj Manik Prabhu Maharaj in the morning session. In the afternoon session Brahman Santarpan is performed by offering food to five Vedic Pundits amidst chanting of Veda Mantras.
The next day of the Utsav is Shri Maharaj Ji’s Aradhana, wherein Mahapooja to the Smadhi and offering of food to Brahmins is performed with utmost devotion amidst the presence of hundreds of devotees.
The five-day Mahotsav concludes on Ashwin Krishna Saptami with the Aradhana Utsav of Shri Sadguru Manohar Manik Prabhu Maharaj. Maharaj Ji performs Maha-Pooja to the Samadhi of Shri Manohar Manik Prabhu Maharaj. Aradhana is performed in the afternoon session after which Maha-Prasad is offered to devotees in the Bhandarkhana. A Special Darbar is held in the night to commemorate the occasion wherein musicians and Vedic Pundits participate.
