In furtherance of its objective of working for the poor and the disadvantaged, Shri Manik Prabhu Shikshan Samiti started Shri Manik Prabhu Blind School in the year 1999. This is a residential school with full-time teachers who are trained in Braille language. After learning up to Class 4 in Braille here, the students are sent to regular schools, in order that they mix with the normal children and do not develop any kind of inferiority complex. About 40 blind children are presently pursuing their education in this school.
